As a caregiver for a severe ME-patient,( Canada-criterias. Bed bound) I have noticed a particular smell when the patient has worse periods. The smell is from the whole body, and is sharper and more pervasive than normal sweat. It is not like the smell from a diabetic, for instance. Is this known? . Are there anything in the metabolism which could explain that smell?
